Queen street in the 1900's
This is a picture of Queen and Spadina Street in the 1900's. In the picture we can see a intersection with people. On the intersection we can see a horse and buggy. To the right we can see a big building that looks like a institutional building. After the institutional building we can see a whole lot of buildings some visible and some in the distance. To the right we can also see what looks like two wagons. Beside the what could have been two wagons there are power lines. In the picture we can see a two lane car road. In the photo we can see a streetcar line for streetcars. In the middle of the road there is more power lines all the way to distance. On the left lane there is a very old looking car. In the distance of the left lane we can see what looks like two vehicles. We can see some open space in the photo like the trees to the left of the photo. The sidewalk on the left of the photo looks small and looks like it can't fit a large amount of people.
Queen Street in the 2000'S
This is a picture of Queen and Spadina Street in the 2000's. There are a lot of changes compared to the 1900's. There is still an intersection with people in the left of the photo. Since people have cars now, there are no more horse and buggies. There is still the big building that could be a institutional building but, it might of have gotten some renovations. There are still buildings on the right after the institutional building, the first one after the institutional building looks like a residential building. The place that used have two wagons now has two cars. There is still a road but, it looks like people took out the two lane car road and put just one lane for cars on the left of the photo. It looks like people transformed the other car lane into a streetcar track just for the streetcars, that might explain why there is a streetcar on the streetcar track. Street lamps are now in the photo for vehicles. There is also a streetcar line for the streetcars. There is no more power lines in the middle of the road. There are no more trees visible to the left of the photo. There are no more open space visible in the photo, the open space has got replaced by buildings like MC. Donald's. Behind the MC. Donald's, it looks like there is a big residential building. The sidewalk that looked small in the 1900's now looks a little bit bigger and looks like it can fit a suitable amount of people.
